2013: The Year Of Abundance

Each year, I pick a word that will drive me for the next 364 days. In 2011, my word was "focus." In 2012, I chose "purpose." This year, "abundance" is the word I'm sticking with. Grabbing Control Of Our Finances + Rebuilding Our Savings

Before I got laid off, our savings account was terrific. We managed to save about $10,000 back in 2008, giving us a nice cushion after we bought our house. 2012 Goals

I figure if I put them here, it will help keep me accountable, right? Save $200 per month. Commit to one Sunday a month making freezer meals to help cut down on eating take-out.
