{In The Kitchen} What’s For Dinner: Week Of August 27

It’s back to school week for me and my daughter (aww!) so I’m hoping that menu planning for this week will help us stay on track and minimize bumps in the road as we adjust to a new schedule!

Monday  – Asian wings w/ stir fry veggies (above)

Tuesday – Chicken enchilada pasta

Wednesday – Salmon cakes (my mom’s recipe – was supposed to make it two weeks ago!)

Thursday – Chicken salad sandwiches

Friday – Tacos!

  1. Definitely want to try the Asian Wing recipe!

I’ve also started planning and I have noticed the amount of money that I am saving. My only regret is that I should have done this sooner. (:

go GIRL!! most definitely inspired by you to keep it together in the kitchen for my son and I!!

  3. I enjoy your meal planning too. I definitely want to try the Asian Wings and Chicken Enchilada pasta. I think we are having a turkey tenderloin Monday/Tuesday, Chicken fajitas: Wednesday and Thursday/Friday is BBQ pulled chicken sandwiches. Friday is sort of free for all at our house. Have a good week!

  4. I don’t know what my problem is with menu planning. I don’t stick to it. I tend to wing it each day and see what I come up with. Those Asian wings look amazing! I want to try those.

  5. This looks awesome. I too have started to go back to planning my meals during the week. For the weeks that I don’t plan, I check to see what I have, and work it. We’re able to save so much money planning things out in advance.

I have to say I tried the Asian wings using chicken and salmon and it was sooooo amazingly good. I didn’t have any doubts but typically homemade Asian food is just a good way to not eat the same thing for dinner every night. but it was just so amazing i can get over it. I already told my family about it ! I hope you enjoy your weekend with your family.
