First off, know that I am (sometimes) really bad at this self-promotion thing. I don’t like talking about myself or the cool things I do. I wish people just understood my awesomeness (lol) so I wouldn’t have to constantly hang out on Facebook or at blogger conferences telling people how incredible I truly am.
Last month I got to chat with Charles Major and do a “Mogul Chat” – a Skype interview where we discussed the blog, my business, and the YML scholarship. I don’t often show my face on the blog because I’m camera shy but I’m pushing past it because I think I made some really good points in this video! Charles really understood why support for young mothers is crucial, why it’s damaging for young moms to hear “You’re not going to make it,” and he pledged to support our scholarship drive this summer. Pure awesomeness.
