Monday Morning Motivation – The Hardest Part Of Being Self-Employed

I can’t believe it’s October. I know it’s already the second week of the month, but I just can’t believe it. 2012 has flown by (I’m pretty sure I said that about 2011, and 2010, and 2009), but it’s something about this year that feels unreal. Maybe it’s because I’m nearing TWO YEARS of being self-employed and let me tell you, I can’t believe I made it this long. My family is not just surviving but we are thriving and I can only attribute that to a whole lot of prayer and a whole lot of work!

In today’s Monday Morning Motivation video, I’m talking about some of the lessons I’ve learned in the 47 months I’ve been my own boss. This ish is cray, you all!

  1. In this economy, I think self employment is a great option. It’s allows for flexibility, you can give your a raise at time and more importantly in some cases you’re building a legacy and brand that will be passed down to your children. I agree that your business or brand will only be as good as the work we put in it.

  2. This month marks 1 year of me being a SAHM but I’ve been self employed eight months and it’s been a journey to say the least! I’m still learning and growing but I’m determined to succeed! It hasn’t been easy but I see myself at a certain mark and I will continue pressing until I get there! Thanks for sharing!
