Beyonce – Live At Roseland DVD

I love Beyonce and everything – yes, everything – she represents. I could spend hours on YouTube, watching behind-the-scenes clips of her prepping for an awards show or tour rehearsal. I love how hard she works and how she gives her all in everything she does. I’ve been known to pop in one of her concert DVDs when I need a lil’ bit of inspiration. So this new DVD is a must on my list. Her concert at the Roseland Ballroom in NYC this summer sold out in 22 freakin’ seconds. 22 seconds. Like, damn. So this (as Bey and her marketing team must already know) is the next best thing.

Her Furi knives revolutionized my whole cooking life. Did you know if you have really sharp knives you can cut through almost anything like butter? Who knew? All my life I’ve been cooking with these dull a$$ knives and making myself cry needlessly while cutting an onion. Now I’ve got my eye on these beauties.

I want this so bad. And I’m actually getting one. As soon as I rationalize the cost. I have a crappy ol’ Samsung phone that even Samsung execs would laugh at if they saw it (“Look at this crap! I can’t believe we used to make phones like this! What a bunch of underachievers we were! HAHAHAHA!”).

Mama is a businesswoman. And she needs a new phone.

Of course, since my birthday is actually the day before my daughter’s fifth birthday party, I will  most likely be spending it in last-minute preparation mode.

Which is fine with me. As long as one of those gifts finds its way into my hands.
