It is my goal to kick off 2012 with a bang. 2011 was mainly about me finding my footing and establishing a new direction for my career. My YML mamas were along for the ride and what a ride it was!
2012 is about taking my career to the next step. Not only am I trying to put more money in my pockets, but I’m also trying to find ways to put money in yours. Not gift cards or discount codes, but real live money that you can, you know, use to pay your rent or buy your kid some new shoes.
My first project for the year will be the release of a group ebook. I’m going to select 9 moms to share their views on a singular topic—I haven’t decided what it will be yet, but you can bet it is directly tied to the stuff we’ve been discussing here all year long. We’ll work together to put together a cohesive book, sell the hell out of it and split the profits evenly.
Will it make us rich? Nope, but I’m hoping the profits are enough for us to keep it as money that’s just for us. You know, get a pair of shoes, save it for a rainy day, get those highlights we’ve been thinking about.
Every three months of 2012, I want to release a new book, with 9 different moms. Each book will build on the next. Before you know it, we might have our own publishing company. I don’t know. And that’s the exciting part.
All of this is pretty premature, but I wanted to let you know what I’m thinking about and how you can get involved and make your mark. More information to come, for sure.

You’ve already got a strong foundation, and with that, all of the pieces will fall into place. I really enjoyed being a part of your first book, definitely up for the greatness of 2012.

I absolutely love this idea. I’m am so blessed and lucky to have found your site. I became a new mom in June. My tiny boy was not due until August and he is still currently in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, getting stronger every day.
In between long, tiring trips to the hospital, I find myself checking up on the latest topics. I haven’t contributed much due to the fact the I’m most likely in transit, and having a look on my Blackberry. When my son finally gets home and I have a spare moment to open my laptop, I know this is the first place I’ll be heading to.
It has truly had a big impact on my life during this past summer and I can’t thank you enough for that. I sincerely hope you get these books off the ground and I would be honored to contribute and way I am needed!
