Meet The YML Blogging Crew

I put out the call for guest bloggers a little over a month ago (2011 is FLYING by) and I’m finally ready for the gals to make their debut. I tried to pick people with different backgrounds, different passions, different voices, in order to make the YML community all it can be.

I asked all the mamas to give us a little bit more detail about themselves (and you’ll read those posts next week!) but for now, here’s a brief introduction to the women who will be making the place a little brighter. :)

Alicia Harper is a single mother, blogger, and full time graduate student who studies Psychological Counseling at Columbia University. Alicia blogs about the trials and triumphs of being a young, single mother living in NYC at Mommy Delicious, a site that celebrates the beauty of finding that silver lining through many of life’s obstacles. You can also find her on Facebook or follow her on Twitter.

Lindsey Bunin is a first-time mum, avid crafter and a culinary thrill-seeker (read: she’s become accustomed to juggling a baby, a glue gun and a whisk in her pursuit of happiness). In the real world, she’s a trained journalist and freelance writer who recently forayed into the world of advertising and PR. She lives, loves and writes in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Visit her blog, Like a Hamster on a Wheel, and follow her on Twitter, @lbunin.

Gerri Kimble, M.Ed., is a mommy, wife, high school teacher, and other stuff in between. She chronicles her family life at TheKimbleKrew.com.

Katrina Pickering is married working mom trying to figure out life as a “baby buncher.” She has a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, and works as a case manager for the mental health population.

Amber Wright, M.A. is a deliriously happy new mother of a special little girl and loving wife to a wonderful man. She invites you to visit her blog, The Yeyo Diaries, where she vows to tell the raw and lovely truth about motherhood.
