And The First Book Is….

So you ready to hear the first topic?

Drumroll, please…

You all said that you’d be interested in hearing how other moms keep it together and keep everything running smoothly. I’m envisioning this book as half-tips, half-relatable stories. In a nutshell, I want moms to put down the book and think, “Okay, I can do this. I got this.” You should be able to breathe a little easier after reading our stories!

We are hoping to have the first book available for purchase on January 1. We’re hoping to have it available in a variety of formats. Please, please, please—when the time comes to promote this baby, we’ll need your help to spread the word far and wide!

If you did not get an email from me on Friday, then that means that you are still in the running for the next book. I tried to pick people who fit with the topic and I wanted to have a nice variety of ages and races and number of kids, etc., in this book so everyone could find someone to relate to in it. I have the 30something mom with teenagers, the late 20something mom with three kids, the 40something mom with college-bound kids, and a few young moms with babies and toddlers.

If you weren’t picked for this book, don’t worry — I’ve definitely got a few of you in mind for specific books and will probably be reaching out to you soon to let you know. For example, I want to do a book specifically for single moms, as well as a book for moms who are parenting special needs children. There will many more opportunities in the future, so don’t be bummed.
