[Letter To My Husband On Our Seventh Anniversary] Thank You For Loving Me

Longtime readers know I write a little something to my husband every year for our anniversary because well, he deserves it. He is a large part of the reason that I am able to do what I do every single day. This is but a small token of my appreciation. 

Thank you for loving me

Thank you for loving me when I did not understand what love was.

When I wasn’t sure I deserved pure love.

But most of all, thank you for loving me when I am weak.

When I lack the ability to see me how you see me.

When I am tired and stressed and prone to arguments.

When I don’t deserve your patience and you give it to me anyway.

When I forget to return your text.

When I fuss at the kids.

When I fuss at you.

When I crowd you in your man cave after you’ve had a long day at work.

When I take too long to apologize.

 

Thank you for loving me unconditionally and never allowing me to forget for a moment that my soul is interwined with yours.

Thank you for loving me so hard that our children don’t doubt that what we have is real.

Thank you for loving me through the ups and downs of my career.

Thank you for loving me when I get a rejection letter or a big deal falls through.

Thank you for loving me when I am confident.

Thank you for loving me and never making me feel guilty for how hard I work.

Thank you for loving me. All of me. You take the good with the bad, the bitter with the sweet and never, ever, have you made me feel like I have ever been less than a perfect wife. Your kindness soothes my heart. Don’t ever believe I take your presence in my life for granted.
