Exercises To Tone Your Post-Baby Belly

Ever wondered what type of exercises you could do to specifically target those post-baby stretched out abdominal muscles? Yeah, so have I. When I found this BabyFit article, I knew I had to share it with you. It gives you five exercises to try, so let me know if any of these work for you!

But in order to actually see your abs again, you’ve got to get rid of the fat on top. How do you do that? And how do you find time to exercise?

1. Incorporate it into daily routines. Instead of finding the closest spot at the mall or the grocery store, park as far as away as you can while still feeling safe. Do an extra lap once you’re inside to burn more calories.

2. Drink water. So easy to do and helps you feel full so you don’t eat as much.

3. Swap out your bigger plates for smaller plates.  Using a 9 inch plate helped me lose two pounds. I know two pounds isn’t much, but I didn’t change what I ate, or exercise any more. Just changed my portions.

4. Stand up. I think I’m usually sitting about 70% of the time. That’s way too much, but I tend to live on the computer. So when you’re not doing something that requires you to sit (like driving), stand up. March in place.
