I don’t know about you, but before I had my kids and I was a carefree college student, I would live in pumps. Every time I went out on a date, to the movies, to the student center, wherever, I’d throw on my sexiest pair of pumps and be out the door.
Now? Eh, not so much. I still love my pumps, and whenever I walk into my closet I look up longingly at them, but I have to admit that I have yet to wear them more than four days since having my daughter 18 months ago.
Chasing around a hyper toddler in stilettos is just an invitation for broken ankles. With a new kid on the way, I don’t think I can chance it. So now I’m continually on the hunt for cute flats.
