One thing I’m regretting now that I have two kids is my desire to make Baby A be so darn girly and frilly all the time. I went through her clothes and there is absolutely nothing to hand down to Thomas. She has one orange shirt he can wear, but that’s it.

I went so far as to buy her pink socks too, so I can’t even use those with him. So beware, if you have a girl first, don’t be like me. Let her wear some neutral (or neutral-ish) clothes. Otherwise, you’ll be SOL when it comes time to buy clothes for #2.

Susan over at One Year Apart has some fab tips on how to make your kids’ clothes make the transition from Kid #1 to Kid #2.
