Self-promotion on a Monday

As part of my whole “put myself first” journey, I need to embrace the fabulousness that is me, and let the whole world know about it. Since this is the corner of the interwebs where I shout whatever I’m feeling, why not highlight a few recent interviews that tell you a little more about who I am and why I blog.

Here I am at the Baby Bump Diaries, talking about my readers and why my love for what I do keeps me up at night.

Here I am at CoolCleveland.com, a local newsletter that tells people about all the things Cool in Cleveland (yeah, I qualify! LOL). Side note: the day this hit the ‘net, I had my best day ever in terms of pageviews. It was kind of a big deal. :)

Here I am over on Execumama’s page, talking about my plans for the future and why I choose to have a career outside of raising kids (although Lord knows, they could fill up my whole day with ease!)

I hear you Tara, balancing career and family leaves me often feeling overwhelmed finding time for myself seems like a nonissue to everyone else.

Hi Tara – found you via your guest post on Nicole Blades’ blog and wanted to say hi. I loved your post. I have to say, as a 39-year-old mom to a 16-month-old, I am APPALLED that anyone would judge you because of your age. Most of the moms from my daughter’s day care are 10 years younger than I am or more — I don’t care and they don’t seem to either. I think if you’re lucky enough to like the parents of the kids your kid loves, then yay! Everybody wins. That’s one of the many gifts our kids give us — the community of other parents! I, for one, couldn’t care less about their ages. Come on over to Brooklyn — we’ll be nice to you!

@CookiePie – Thanks for stopping by! I don’t get the other mom too – I’m hoping she was spaced out. I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt.

@Courtney – I don’t know why Jaedyn is so crazy about me. He was TOO thorough with me last time he was over. I told him he couldn’t touch my computer and he looked at me like, “Terwa, don’t you love me?” His little feelings were hurt! I tried to hug him but he was done! It was too late!
