The Young Mommy comes to D.C. and wants you to come too!

If you’ve read this blog at all in the past couple weeks, then you’ve already heard about my upcoming trip to Washington D.C., to participate in a national discussion on building support networks for pregnant and parenting young women.

Sounds good, right?

The highlight of the trip will be a reception on Thursday, March 18, at the Sewall-Belmont House and Museum, for the launch of the Young Mothers @ The Margin campaign, which I held a short fundraiser for back in late 2009.

I know there are a bunch of readers in the D.C. area, and I’d like to meet you all! Finally have some faces to put with names and blog titles and e-mail addresses. :)

If you’d like to attend the reception, please e-mail me at youngmommychronicles@gmail.com so I can know how many readers to expect. Get directions to the reception here.

I love all the support you’ve given me and I want to be able to thank you in person! :) See you Thursday.

{If you don’t live in D.C., I’m working on getting my butt out of Ohio and making my way around the country for some young mom events. So stay tuned!}
