Oh, I especially like # 9, so very true!! My #10 would have something to do w/ not settling; whether that be with a friend, a grade, or any other project they may take on, don’t settle!

There is so much wisdom between this post and the comments. I would just add that I would like my daughter to learn fearless independence but also that it is ok to ask for help.

ur list pretty much covers it! i want my daughter to love herself just the way she is. to be herself and to stand up for what she believes in.always be kind to others, especially those who seem different or less fortunate. character is more important than grades or achievements.

I can only think of 5 because I’m sleepy as hell:

1) Respect and embrace yourself.

2) Dont’ be afraid to say ‘no’ to the wrong things, and ‘yes’ to the morally right things.

3) When people speak against you, work hard to prove the people wrong, but work harder to prove yorself right.

4) Learn as much as you can in life.

5) Show people what love means.
