You short girls always have the va voom!

Ok, let's talk about this bra thing. I'm breastfeeding and my baby likes to pull and tug at my bras while she is feeding. As a result, the, you know, sometimes play peek-a-boo when I don't know it, and anyways I forgot my point. Mommy brain. Dang!

@Kaye - Ooh, we hit the same sale! I think mine were $20 too. I wish they had more pairs. As far as the fragrance goes, I switch it up a bit too, but when it comes to certain events, I like to smell like "me." Does that make sense?

@ Ashley - Oh, I thought I was the only one trying to get out of wearing sneakers! (Am I really Midwestern 'cause I call 'em tennis shoes? Oh well.) I've bought all these flats for summer because I wanted to feel more like a grown up and now I only wear my tennis shoes (hehe) if I'm working out (which, so sadly, is never). I need to step up my nail game because they are usually looking so rough. One day I suppose...

@ Humps - Hmmm. Blush...didn't even think of it! I'm usually a fresh-faced gal (just a good washing and a thin layer of pure cocoa butter...makes me feel so old-school), so I didn't think to add makeup to the list. BUT as I get older I'm thinking more about makeup and how to best present myself so I might have to add some blush to my routine. Thanks for the tip! And hurry up and have the baby! I bet you he/she is going to be so cute!!!

Your list is fantastic. I completely agree with all of the essentials that you mentioned. Although I'm not yet a mommy - still a few weeks to go!! - I have a suggestion. My personal essential BLUSH.

It is definitely my go to item. Even with no other makeup, a little blush goes a long way in looking fresh, awake, pulled together. With all complexions. Don't underestimate the power.

Love this list! I feel you on those editor pants in part 1! They are literally perfect in every way. I'd add a couple and say:

11) Cute flats for casual everyday wear, or grocery store runs because sneakers make me feel kiddy; flats with cute jeans and a cute scarf with a basic tee make me feel like a hip young mommy.
12) Clear nail polish or one of those buffer nail files because really who has time for a manicure and with dishes its usually a waste!

GREAT LIST. I have, at one point or another, tried to get all of the items you've listed. Funnily enough, I too got lucky with old navy jeans(with me it': tiny waist, full hips, no butt, skinny legs). They had a denim sale a few weeks back and I scooped up a bunch for a mere 19.95/ea. Unfortunately, I am still working on the sexy pjs too. I have a few cotton shifts from Aerie that my hubby likes (definite upgrade from me using his tshirts). As for the fragrance, I think the concept is great, but I could never be pinned down to one scent. I tend to choose my fragrance of the day to match how I feel. Why settle for one when you can have it all in that department??
