@Kaye – “I think I love the fact that by the time my eldest is 20, I’ll be 43 (still young and sexy)” I’m telling you – this might be the best benefit to young motherhood. We’ll still have 40, maybe 50 years of kicking it after the kids leave.

@Erica – I always said I’d be a young mom too! But had no idea it would be this soon or this #^@* hard. LOL. My goal is being that young, fly, successful mommy that I know is buried in here somewhere!

I completely agree with #2 and #4. It’s kinda funny. Growing up, I always wanted to get married/have kids young, but when it actually happened, at the time, I was devastated. Now I am definitely looking forward to being the young, fly, successful mommy that my son and all his friends admire.

P.S. I also agree with the lack of energy comment. Most nights, I can’t sit still for more than 25 minutes without falling asleep! Sad, I know. LOL

I think I love the fact that by the time my eldest is 20, I’ll be 43 (still young and sexy) LOL. Also, I agree with the energy comment you made. When they were toddlers I was pretty beat. I don’t remember much of that period (very little sleep, you see). There’s no way I’d opt to go through that at 40. When some ladies will just be getting started, I’ll be on the last leg of that race.
