My daughter will probably bust a cap in the Tooth Fairy when she’s older

My daughter (Baby A) is very stubborn spirited. She’s very quick to let you know if she doesn’t like something and will voice her displeasure until you get the point and leave her alone.

Her teen years are just going to be wonderful.

So when it comes time to brush Baby A’s teeth, she’s not too happy about something placing something in her mouth that’s not food. She will wriggle and whine and scream for the entire minute I’m able to get the toothbrush in there.

But I finally figured out how to get her to brush her teeth without having to stretch first. Instead of “brushing her teeth,” I “tickle her teeth.” Same thing, except now we laugh throughout. Such a simple thing, but it has made all the difference in the world. I finally feel like a “Real Mom.” Score one for me!
